The famous 21st Century Steam Locomotive LNER Class A1 Peppercorn 60163 Tornado returns to the ‪@Nene_Valley_Railway‬ for the first time in many years. The Tornado Weekend at the Nene Valley Railway runs on both the 19th and 20th and the 26th and 27th October 2024. I visited the NVR on the 20th October with my Grandad, and as well as filming the Tornado switching sides of the train, for the first time ever, I have also filmed the whole train journey along the NVR between Peterborough, Wansford and Yarwell Junction. Also featured is the model of the Tornado running in the Wansford model railway carriage and a few photos of the Nene Valley Railway branded beers made by Bowlers Brewery; the Chug Chug ale, and the Locomaltive ale, which I bought on the train to drink on the train journey to try them out and see what they taste like.
