This is a cool clock project or really, trying to turn an existing cool clock project into a somewhat more useful cool clock project. Using the PrusaXL to make it bigger, too! This clock is powered by simple but powerful hardware:
Wemos D1 a wifi chip that gets the time from an internet time server
Neopixels check out the adafruit link for 'em
A level shifter convert 3.3v data signal to 5v for the pixels

I'd recommend building the clock just to see how easy it is to work with these parts what else could you do with a wificonnected module and a dozen IO pins?
