As a fulltime traveller with only one small backpack, I need to keep my clothing to a minimum, and that means only having one pair of shoes and I wear them every single day. These trainers I was wearing in this video were bought in Romania months and months ago and have been with me to Ukraine, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia, France, Cyprus, Jordan, Dubai, Pakistan and Nepal. I even climbed over a mountain, through a very dangerous field to cross a border in these trainers.
I had spotted lots of trainer shops here in Kathmandu and I wondered about the prices and whether they were real I knew they weren't real really... But that's not an issue as if they fall apart, I'll just replace them in whatever country I'm in at the time.
This guy in the trainer shop in Kathmandu was very friendly, we had fun together and I got some of the comfiest trainers I've ever owned from his shop. I wasn't actually planning on bargaining, but when he told me the price, my tight nature came out and he just decided to give me a huge discount. I'm well aware that the price is still too high for these cheap Chinese trainers.
