This video will explain how one assesses for lumbosacral plexopathy using nerve conduction and EMG tests and distinguish these from differentials such a Peroneal Nerve lesions / Sciatic nerve lesions and Lumbar Radiculopathy. In this case I describe some specifics regarding a complication of prolonged labor called postpartum plexopathy. This can be confused with issues relating to epidural pain relief and stirrup related compression neuropathy.
