I got to learn something new about portable ham radio involving using your vehicle as a base :)

I decided to try out the sotabeams linked dipole antenna (20m/40m) that I have in my collection. it's been a while since I used one. I very nearly skipped testing the antenna before using it, good job I didn't especially if i was going to turn up the power.

I also got to cook some yummy food so not all lost.
