Rumors began circulating that BMW was working on the X8, another halo SUV, although the official announcement regarding the XM designation came later. Currently, BMW has not made an official announcement regarding when the 2025 BMW X8 will be released. Rumors suggest that the launch may occur around 2024 or 2025. An angular look, larger headlights and a coupelike sloping roofline define the X8. Its coupelike profile, large kidney grille, slim side headlights and sloping roofline give it an aggressive and bold appearance, characteristics it shares with the headlights below the headlights. The engine has a capacity of 4.4 liters and is equipped with twin turbos, the same as the one in the FX. It is expected that this engine will produce around 600 horsepower. One variant integrates a plugin hybrid system with a twinturbo V8 engine and electric motor. Power and fuel economy from this engine are expected to be excellent.
