J Girl got a new bike and she's breaking er in proper at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, MN. And since it's her new bike day she has the GoPro on. Jess is pretty vocal when she rides which makes for some good content so enjoy that haha.
She's riding the Specialized Status 160. Subscribers may already know that I recently got the same bike and I've been upgrading parts on it. I've know switched everything out except for the suspension and since the Status frame and shock are on sale Jess ordered the frame. We put a Marzocchi Bomber Z1 fork on it (also on sale) and all the stock parts off my Status. Our frames are even the same color so we are that couple now that have his and her bikes haha. I've been liking my bike and she seemed to really take to hers well. She has Shimano brakes and drivetrain on her Rocky Mountain so that was a little weird for her to switch to cheap Sram stuff but it didn't stop her from killing the trails. Probably will end up switching the Sram brakes out for some Shimanos though.
