The Oregon Air National Guard is set to welcome new F15EX Eagles.
The jets will replace the older F15C models that were built in the 1980s.
The new jet might look similar, but the pilots tell KATU News that everything on the inside is brand new and completely different.
“Our old airplane is analog, this jet is digital,” said Col. Mike Kosderka, Commander 142nd Wing.
The brandnew aircraft will continue the mission of keeping the skies above the Pacific Northwest safe from threats.
