This is my first Leonardo, a Momento Zero Golden Abalone (Jonathon Brooks Blanks/Carolina Pens) x Atlas Stationers collab.

The body is, of course, stunning. The nib is no slouch, either; it also writes like a dream ~ a very welltuned, wet, broad writer. The only drawback for me is that the pen is pretty girthy, considering my preferred and most favorite pen size is the Sailor Pro Gear Slim, which I use to compare girth sizes at the end of the video.

I may have been influenced to try this brand by the Dormouse ‪@TheDormousesDesk‬ and Jane ‪@fountainpensinksmore3290‬ . Just sayin'.

Dominant Industry Inks never fail to put a smile on my face. This ink is no exception; it's splendid! They did a fine job creating a moody, deep, dark green, almost blackishgreen, that pays homage to the equally moody Turner painting that inspired this color.
