Here's the new extended road of Citrus Park Drive was open in January of 2022. The other part of Citrus Park Drive was there before that goes by Best Buy and Olive Garden the extension part was added later and it's the one with a better bike lane than the original drive. I had read about it 2 years ago when the extension opened but, I didn't know where it was exactly. Waze brought me to it when I was driving back on my way back from my SR56 ride to Zephyrhills. When I drove my vehicle by there it was all lit up and it looked like the a bike could be rode there. It was like 2.4 one way. I found the bike lane to be very nice there and nice enough to share it with people. It was easy to get to from the Upper Tampa Bay Trail once on Erlich Rd and getting onto Sheldon Rd and coming here.

A person could ride there at night. If you take notice when you watch the video that there is not a lot of traffic. I don't think a lot of people know about that Citrus Park Dr. I would consider driving on Citrus Park Dr at night over the end part of Race Track Rd which is really curvy and dangerous.

My only complaint was it made my ride too short coming back. I ended my ride at 33 miles because I was out of fluids to drink and it was a little hot that day. I figured since Strava ended the week on Sunday that I would just ride the next day.
