Hi & welcome to East Coast Sailing. I have owned this boat for just over 3 months and upgraded the sprayhood as it was original. It was showing its age being over 17 years old. The sprayhood looked tired and aged the boat considerably so Evania deserved an upgrade. The video focuses on the design and patterning of the new sprayhood following Tom's methodology from Sail Medic in Ipswich Suffolk. Tom showed me how to to get the perfect sprayhood template made up, perfect build as well as glove like fitment. I can assure you this is one of the finest examples of craftmanship you will see on YouTube. The sprayhood skin sits tightly like a drum. I have had previous sprayhoods made using the old one as a template but the fitting is usually poor and sags. Tom's services come highly recommended.
