This video takes you stepbystep through the process of creating an acrylic pour on a new type of canvas that I surely have never seen in my Michaels before. Today I will also use a special blend of white acrylic paint that creates some cool effects.
I start off with applying a black base coat which is thinned down with American Floetrol only. No water. The ratio for the white base is 1 part paint to 3 parts Floetrol. I then add my special colors to the top of that in doodle like fashion. Colors are also mixed 1 part paint 3 parts Floetrol, no water. On top and to the side of my colors I then add my special blend of white acrylic paint with special ingredients to create a puffy cloud like appearance. The white paint [artist loft soft body acrylic] in the bottle is mixed as follows. One part paint, 1 part Floetrol, 1 part gac 800, 1 part satin enamel paint. I did not use any water in any of these colors today. Next week I will show this on a black base so you can see the strong contrast. How did you like today's video?
