I was really hoping, this would be a nice Christmas idea for some of you: The new DL24P Battery Tester with Bluetooth and App for mobiles phone and PC. The devices is really an upgrade in comparison to the old clunker: nice colour display, easy and intuitive button navigation, voltage sense terminals, LED rainbow fan. I mean, come one, an LED rainbow fan!
I show you the navigation and ease of programming. We connect the tester to a powerbank, 12V battery and the good old 100Ah LFP battery cell, to do some testing.
When it comes to the app functionality, this feature is not so great anymore. In fact, the app sucks so much that I would not even recommend trying it out. This feature needs a lot more work. It actually looks like an alphaversion to me.
Anyway, overall, I still think this is a great device and would make a good battery tester for someone just starting in this topic.
