The fourthgeneration ‘G45’ X3 from BMW promises to up the German marques game for premium midsize SUVs. And Chasing Cars contributor Dan Gardner heads to Germany for a first drive of the petrolpowered newcomers.

The G45 X3 will land in Australia in two launch trim levels. The entry 20 xDrive will list from $84,500, while the performance allpaw M50 xDrive clocks on from $126,900 before onroads.
