Night time offers a new perspective to the operations of an international airport, a perspective which we love to film and share with you guys.

With the UK now in the heart of winter, with some of the shortest days of the year with minimum hours of daylight it offers us the chance to film Manchester's daily movements in the hours of darkness. In this video we see Manchester's early morning movements, from 7am until sunrise around 8:40am.

This time is one of the busiest spells for the airport with a number of international arrivals. Although not always the easiest for our cameras to cope with, the low light and darkness offers a great perspective of the operations as aircraft arrive on stand and or are pushed back before starting their engines and taxiing to the active departure runway.
