Best Niko Day Ever 1386

It's Niko's birthday!! On a boat! soon to be on a island with a beach, waterslides, and a splash pad!! I don't know how we get a better Best Day Ever than this. Adley, Navey, Jenny, and I all wake up a little early so that we can decorate our cruise ship cabin with streamers and hide Niko Bear's presents around the room, like a mini game of hide n seek. When we are all ready, its time for our family tradition of waking up the birthday kiddo with balloons in bed. Niko is all smiles as we sing happy birthday to him and then we help him search the room for his gifts.

After presents we all get ready in our swimsuits and sun screen cause we are going to the island!! But first stop some delcious breakfast with cereal and mickey mouse waffles. We also have to stop and get free ice cream because its Niko's birthday and i'm pretty sure there are tons of ice cream machines on this boat!

It's time for fun in the sun!! We go down slides, we play with water canons, splashed with buckets, and swim around like fish. We throw on some goggles and have a mini snorkel sesh in the ocean. Adley and Niko Bear find some actual fish and show Navey. We grab some delicous lunch before we go to a kids club where Goofy, Pluto, Chip, and Dale are having a party. The kiddos jump in on a water race and through team work they are able to win the mini competion. We then dance around with Goofy and Dale before we head to a splash pad where the kiddos play water duck duck goose with other children and we splash each other with water for some good old fashion family fun. What an amazing start to Niko's birthday!!

After all that fun, we head back to our room and find the the crew has left us pirate scarfs. We can wear them at pirate island when we get back, but tonight on the boat, it's pirate night where they will have fire works and a dance party! Our first stop is to the bibbidi bobbidi boutique to transform Niko into pirate niko! He gets to pick out a costume, they do pirate make up on him and give him and eye patch and a pretend play parrot. He looks so tough and Navey can't get over him having a mustache. A little preview, on our next Best Day Ever, the girls transform into Disney Princesses.

With our Pirate Niko Bear all ready, we head to dinner and then the party. It's so much fun! I love seeing the kiddos different personalities as they dance around and interact with other kids. We watch a little show where Captain Hook tries to take over the party, but Mickey Mouse and Minnie save the day!!

We dance and dance till the party is over and we head back to our cabin where we find an octopus on our bed! Ok, its one made out of towels and wearing Jenny's sunglasses and it has little chocolates for all of us!! What an amazing day and Happy 6th Birthday to Niko!!
