If you were as entranced as I was by the animation and graphics of Nimona, check out this breakdown and animation analysis. The animation was SO GOOD and I loved the art and visual treatment and it was an amazing translation from the graphic novel to an animated medium with a unique 3d animation style. Nimona was originally a web comic, then graphic novel, and then was picked up as a movie, but was almost completely cancelled. I'm so glad that the demise of Blue Sky Studios didn't mean the demise of the Nimona movie, because the world needed this.
