The Dark Personality consists of different traits such as narcissism, sadism, Machiavellianism and psychopathy. People with Dark Personality also have cognitive empathy, sometimes referred to as Dark Empathy. Researchers Zettler, Moshagen and Hilbeg found a common tendency with all the traits and called it the DFactor. These tendencies, to different degrees include being selfish, egotistical,callous, manipulative, lying, cruel and being spiteful and resentful.
