In an effort to push video content out to its consumers in the mid to late 90s, Nintendo distributed VHS tapes, often free of charge, via mail and retail outlets. These videos showcased select games and consoles in an attempt to market them to target audiences using contrived plots and overthetop actors.

This video (part 1 of 10) presents "Donkey Kong Country Exposed" which Nintendo distributed for free to subscribers of Nintendo Power Magazine in 1994. The video features interviews with the staff of Nintendo of America regarding the new ACM (advanced computer modeling) techniques used in Nintendo's newest game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Donkey Kong Country. Viewers were urged to preorder their copy as soon as possible and were also shown a glimpse of Nintendo's next ACM game, Killer Instinct.
