In an effort to push video content out to its consumers in the mid to late 90s, Nintendo distributed VHS tapes, often free of charge, via mail and retail outlets. These videos showcased select games and consoles in an attempt to market them to target audiences using contrived plots and overthetop actors.

This video (part 4 of 10) presents "Change the System" which Nintendo produced in 1996 to promote its new console, the Nintendo 64. The video could be purchased directly from Nintendo for $3.95 by calling their tollfree number. The three "expert gamers" are invited to Nintendo of America to experience three upcoming games: Super Mario 64, Pilotwings 64, and Star Wars Shadows of the Empire. Nintendo staff members explain basic game play mechanics with the new controller's analog stick over game play footage.
