Here is most Mouth Watering Delicious Bengali Style Niramish Aloo Dum Recipe. Also it is called Dum Aloo and it is a very popular Indian Veg Recipe. So let’s learn how to cook Dum Aloo with Baby Potatoes and make it at home.

Ingredients of Niramish Aloor Dum:
1. Potato (500 gm) cut in to big cubes.
2. Sliced tomato (1 big size).
3. Ginger paste (2 tbsp).
4. Green chilli paste (5 no).
5. Garam masala
6. Cumin seeds (¼ tsp).
7. 2 Dry chills.
8. 2 Bay leaves.
9. Cumin powder (½ tsp).
10. Turmeric powder (1 tsp).
11. Red chilli powder (½ tsp).
12. Garam masala powder (½ tsp).
13. Sugar (As per your taste).
14. Salt (As per your taste).
15. Cashew nut paste (3 tbsp).
16. Ghee (1 tsp)
17. Refined oil.

Methods of How to make Niramish Aloor Dum for vegetarian:
1. Add refined oil in hot pan. Fry the potatoes very well. Add ¼ tsp turmeric powder.
2. Add 4 tbsp oil in hot pan. Add garam masala, ¼ tsp cumin seeds, 2 bay leaves, and 2 dry chillis. Fry for 15 to 20 sec.
3. Add sliced tomatoes. Fry for 1 min in medium flame.
4. Add 2 tbsp ginger paste, green chilli paste. Fry for 1 min in medium flame.
5. Add 1 tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp red chilli powder. Mixed it well.
6. Add ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp sugar. Mixed it well.
7. Add fried potatoes. Mixed it well.
8. Add 1 cup water. Now close the lid and Cook in medium flame for 5 min.
9. After 5 min add 3 tbsp cashew nut paste. Mixed it well.
10. Now taste the salt and sugar. Add more as per your taste. Cook in high flame for 2 min.
11. Finally add ½ tsp garam masala powder and 1 tsp of ghee. Mixed it well.
12. Put off the gas oven. Close the lid for 5 min.
13. Niramish aloor dum is ready to serve.
14. Serve hot with Bhoger khicuri (   • পূজার খিচুড়ি রেসিপি  Bhoger Khichur...  ), luchi (   • এইভাবে লুচি বানালে সব লুচি ফুলকো ও খা...  ), Roti, Paratha, Kachuri etc.
