This week, our special guest Tara Laidlaw shares with us about the programs she has developed for kids using nature journaling with the Southern Oregon Land Conservancy. Tara shares about her programs, her school visits that help to set the tone for the field, the transformative field trips her students embark on with her, and how she has set the educational program up for longterm success.

Since 2020, Southern Oregon Land Conservancy has been facilitating nature journaling field trips and public programs for learners of all ages. Join us to hear how we established these offerings, the impact journaling is having on participants, and the way journaling is helping SOLC work toward stewardship, education, and inclusion goals.
