We’ve covered lots of setups that involve placing things on top of drums but what if we sandwich them between elements of a drum? Maybe you’ve done this with a felt strip on a bass drum but have you ever tried it with a full piece of cloth on the snare? The results are quite cool and the cost is $0 if you’ve got an old tshirt lying around. We’ll show you how to set it up and demo the sound at different tunings.
