Tradisyunal itong dinarasal para sa ikapapayapa ng kaluluwa ng mahal nating yumao. Inatasan tayong mga Katoliko na ipanalangin ang mga yumao. Ang panalangin na ito ay isang nobena o pagpapasiyam na maaaring dasalin sa loob ng siyam na araw mula sa pagpanaw ng mahal sa buhay. Bilang gabay sa pagdarasal, maaaring gamitin ang rosary beads o rosaryo. Samasama nating ipanalangin ang kaluluwa ng mga mahal na yumao!

This is a traditional Catholic Filipino/Tagalog prayer usually offered for the repose of the soul of the faithful departed. This prayer is in the form of a novena or 9 days prayers that may be recited for 9 consecutive days after the death of a loved one. As a guide, one can use rosary beads.
