Noggin Commercial Breaks 2002 (New Digitization)

Rare Noggin Stuff

As y'all may remember, back in 2017, I got a duplicate VHS copy of NostalgiaKarl's 2002 Noggin tape (The first 2 hours anyway, the commercial breaks from the last hour containing Little Bear and Franklin are also on my YouTube channel, which NostalgiaKarl digitized himself from his original using a Dazzle DVC100), and I digitized it, and uploaded it to my then brandnew YouTube channel. However, that digitization had some flaws, such as audio glitches, and rather badquality video. I think the issue was that then I used the builtin VCR on my Toshiba DVR620 DVD recorder to digitize it, which was starting to wear out at that point (What do you expect from Funai?). The DVD recorder part still works fine, but nowadays, my main method of digitizing VHS tapes is to use my Sony SLVR1000 SVHS VCR connected to my Toshiba DVR620 DVD recorder via AV cables to digitize the tape to a DVD, which I can then rip to my computer using Handbrake. I also used this method to digitize this tape a couple weeks ago, but that digitization had rather roughedged video, just like the first digitization done in 2017. I think this was artifact due to it being a duplicated tape. So what I ended up doing was digitizing the tape by connecting the AV out of one of my VCRs (An Emerson in this case, because I do have several working VCRs) to the AV input of a Sony Handycam DCRTRV350 Digital8 camcorder, which I then connected to a 2006 MacBook running Windows 2000 via FireWire, and then I used WinDV to capture it. The Handycam in question was an old one my Mom gave me in 2015, which she got in 2003, and used alot from 20042006. Because it's a Digital8 camcorder, it supports realtime analogtodigital conversion, by connecting an analog source to the camcorder through the AV cable, and then connecting the camcorder to a computer via FireWire. This same function is also supported on the MiniDV ones as well, such as my 2001 Sony Handycam DCRPC110 MiniDV camcorder. Also, on the Digital8 one, I was able to use a function in the menu to enable a builtin TBC, which also helped improve the quality of this tape when digitizing it.
