Whoa and Hi! So stoked to get my first of many slide skills for downhill skateboarding.
No more fear now of how to stop. Will need to practice on all my various boards, but looking forward to the training.
Mentally, I wanted to stop after semibad stand up fall that caused a small laceration to my left forearmeven with elbow pads. I didn’t give myself much time to linger on it and just followed “the process of keep trying/going”.
In the end, instead of focusing on my pain, I focused on making making tighter turns while grabbing the rail. Totally surprised when I got a realization that I could stop.
Thanks for watching.
Shout out to @downhill254skate for the awesome tutorials and volume of guides with indepth skill knowledge. Thank you.
See you in the next video.
