August 2023 Took a very impromptu trip up north to The Porcupine Mountains with Ronda, who was camping there with her husband for the week and invited me up to hike with her for a couple days. We hiked around Lake of the Clouds the first day and from Presque Isle Scenic Area over to the Pinkerton Creek parking the next day. It wasn’t easy with lots of steep inclines and plenty of roots and rocks. But it was worth it to see Lake of the Clouds from above and all the beautiful waterfalls at Presque Isle. Another awesome hike!
