There is a saying on the internet: If you have not visited the morning market, you have never been to Northeast China. In June, the southern region is already so hot that people feel irritable, while in the northeast, early summer is late in arriving. The morning breeze is gentle and it is neither cold nor hot. It is a good time to travel, make friends and visit the morning market.
When I first entered the Zhulinqiao Morning Market in Shenyang City, the smell of hot corn tortillas and fried dough sticks aroused my appetite before I woke up. As I walked forward, the aromas of Harbin sausages, sauced duck, croquettes, soft pancakes, hot noodle flatbreads, corn buns, eggfilled pancakes and grilled cold noodles intermingled with fruit and vegetables. All sorts of tempting aromas alternate along the way. By this time, my stomach had no reason to refuse carbohydrates in the early morning, and tourists from outside could not resist the enthusiasm of the people from the northeast. So I bought fried dough sticks, soy milk and tofu, and ate the sweet and soft corn pancakes. We walked from one end of the morning market to the other and enjoyed a relaxed and comfortable morning trip.
