❖ Synopsis: The film is set in 1938, when the SinoJapanese War broke out. The Japanese army invaded China and occupied northern regions, including Shandong Province. Qiao Longqiao, the leader of a guerrilla group called "Qiao Zi Army," is a heroic and brave man with leadership skills who frequently seizes military supplies from the Japanese to support his forces. In the northern plains, while the Communist Party's army (the Eighth Route Army) prepares to ambush and seize military supplies from the Japanese, Qiao Longqiao quickly captures the supplies first. This draws the attention of the special secretary, Wei Ying, who sends people to investigate. Agents Ma Dingjun and Sha Guanzhou are captured by Qiao Longqiao's forces but later successfully infiltrate this guerrilla group. Qiao Longhua, Qiao Longqiao's sworn sister, always accompanies and cares for him. When Qiao Longqiao's troops are nearly annihilated due to the betrayal of his younger brother, Meng Yihui, Qiao Longhua sacrifices her life to awaken Qiao Longqiao's patriotism. From then on, Qiao Longqiao decides to join the Eighth Route Army to continue the fight against Japan. Ultimately, after many conflicts and misunderstandings, Qiao Longqiao leads his troops back to support the Chinese army, continuing the fight for freedom.
