Here are the neighbors and skips of our last guide note: Bass F.
Bass F is a line note, it’s neighbors are space notes:
The space above F is G found in the top space of the bass staff.
The space below F is E found in the 3rd space from the bottom of the bass staff.
Bass F is a line note, the notes a skip/3rd away from F are also line notes.
A 3rd above F is A on the top line of bass staff.*
A 3rd below F is D on the middle line of the bass staff.
We learned bass staff top line A in lesson 3 – it is a skip away from both Middle C and Bass F.
