To put this into context: this round was played during the livestream of a long, tough ranked grind with some incredibly seasoned players, with the final goal of clinching the 2500pt mark on the golf discord leaderboard. ‪@joecaljapan‬ ‪@Schmeat.‬, and a few others were playing really well leading up to this, so it's not an easy task to maintain the rank points you already have when you're near the top of the leaderboard, much less accumulate enough to break the ceiling of my final goal. But if I managed to do it, it'd be the first time anyone will have reached 2500 pts since "ranked" was ever introduced in January of this year

I had won the 18hole game prior to this one and came up a whole 3 points shy of the goal, so I basically HAD to continue the grind at least one more game because you definitely can't end a night on that kinda cliffhanger. Little did we all know what was about to happen though! I am honestly still in shock and cannot believe everything that transpired: a PERFECT Classic A, a tiedworld record Classic 9 hole, and a tiedranked record 18hole, as well as the best 9hole course score in ranked history (broke my previous shared record of 15, which is in 9hole random). Not to mention, Joe shot his PB in this game and eclipsed 2300 pts! So many great things packed into one game I'm super thankful to everyone for being so dang supportive and encouraging, and I'm glad to have had this performance while playing with the homies! It doesn't get any better than that I tell you hwat!
