Nthabiseng’s childhood in South Africa was marked by frequent power cuts, forcing her to study by candlelight. Shockingly, over 50% of Africans face similar electricity shortages today. Motivated by this, she cofounded Easy Solar, providing solar solutions that have empowered over 1 million people in Sierra Leone. Enabling education and online work, Nthabiseng Mosia, a 2023 ABH Top 10 Hero and CEO of Easy Solar, knows firsthand: “Electricity is the foundation of modern life”.
