Since the NX release 1980 there is the function "Rotary Roughing" in Siemens NX. Rotary Roughing is a function for cutting parts with a rotary milling operation. With only a few userdefined settings (workpiece and blank geometry), NX automatically determines the optimal manufacturing strategy for the rotating part.

Using three examples, we show you in this video how you can use this new roughing operation to cut turned parts.
