By popular request, realtime cab footage with audio*, from a freight train in New Zealand, as it travels from Waharoa to Apata, part 3 of a journey from the Te Rapa yard in Hamilton, to Sulphur Point container terminal in Tauranga.

In this video we travel through the 8.879km Kaimai Tunnel, the longest railway tunnel in New Zealand.

Audio will be muted during radio calls and Locomotive Engineer signal calls, to protect the privacy of all involved.

Footage captured by GoPro mounted on the 2nd Person's side, out of the driver's line of sight, and not touched until the train was stationary and brakes were applied.
