Monday, July 28th 1975.

Footage of the opening of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) conference in Kampala Uganda presided over by President Idi Amin.

He attacked Israel, telling the audience that the country should be expelled from the United Nations. He also asserted that the White minority governments in Rhodesia (later Zimbabwe), Apartheid South Africa ad SouthWest Africa (later Namiia) should hand over governance of their countries to Black Majority rule.

He said that if they did not do so, Africa would have to resort to force.

Yasser Arafat, the leader of the Palestinian Liberation Organisation (PLO), was present by special invitation.

Except of Amin's words:

"I would like to say that the future liberation of Africa must be put into practice. Because if I am speaking about the northern part of Africa I am speaking about the Sinai which is a part of Africa and also about Palestine which is very important to the systems of every mankind who believe in religion if it is Christian, or you are a Moslem you must see that this particular point is taken very serious. Also what I want to do is the southern part of Africa (indistinct) is completely in Rhodesia and South Africa a majority rule. But if Rhodesia and South Africa cannot accept immediate independence to the majority rule in these two countries it may be (indistinct). But what I am speaking about, I want the people to know this, I am not against the whites but the whites must accept that in these countries the majority are black. There must be majority rule and they accept the majority rule I am sure that these Africans will live with them in peace and harmony. If they cannot grant independence by peaceful means in Africa and in the Palestine, especially the Zionists, they must be pressed militarily".
