Paige Pradko

Obsessive, Unwanted Intrusive Thoughts, or as some people like to call the Pure O of OCD can be overwhelming and consume one’s mind through most of their waking hours. Imagine a dark thought creeping into your mind while you're driving home from work, or sitting at home with your family. You find this thought so dark and disturbing that you would never share it with another person, and even feel guilty for thinking it. Now imagine that thought continues to pop in your mind every day, no matter how hard you try to push that thought out of your mind, it keeps coming back.

If you are wondering if you have Pure O OCD, here is a FREE OCD Self Assessment Quiz

In this video, I share the top four methods of dealing with obsessive, intrusive thoughts. One of the reasons this can be so paralyzing is our initial reaction to fighting against these types of thoughts actually make it worse!

If you want to dig in deeper to any of these particular techniques, you can see my other videos, where I talk specifically about how to implement these techniques.
