Travelling to see more properties.

Divine and I talk about the importance of not having a mortgage or a loan on the property. Borrowing money is completely out of the question.

We played at a creek for a few hours while waiting for our meeting with the realtor. It was really fun and the water was so energizing! Would love to go back.

We fall in love with the property and decide to make an offer. Eventually, a few weeks later, it would become Curtis Stone's property    / @offgridcurtisstone  

Both our off grid journeys aiming at selfsufficiency started in September 2020. After 4 years we both have achieved much although in very different ways, often dictated by our means. I think it is amazing for people considering/wanting to move off grid to have both our stories to watch! There isn't a right way to go or be off grid, we all do what we can!

While making bread I discuss our plans, hopes for our continuing property hunt.

I purchased a camera in early 2003 and from then on, kept a regular video diary.

It is with Heart Wide Open, that I share my addventures on my journey in Life.

Every week I upload alternatively a video from the past (starting in 2003 while teaching English in Seoul, South Korea) and one from 6 months ago where I live offgrid, in the middle of nowhere, with the love of my life and our animals.

In the recent videos (episodes), you will see me learn to build, pretty much by myself, projects such as a root cellar, a passive solar greenhouse to grow food year round, a shop/garage with a mezzanine and tackle the daily challenges of living so remotely.

In the videos of the past, you will see the path which led me from teaching English in Korea to my current lifestyle. From the Freedom 35 project to Living in Slovakia, from marriage to divorce, you will witness my unique journey which has shaped me into who I am now.
