We upgrade the Off grid Micro Hydro EMPIRE with an XStream Engine from Energy Systems and Design. We magically mount the machine in the river, connect it to the penstock, and wire it up. Then the tricky part; optimizing the nozzle size, rotor height (magnets) and MPPT settings to get the most power.
