I really hoped TransPennine had a superb onboard offering, as they don't provide 1st class lounges at Carlisle or Glasgow. Imagine my disappointment when the superb onboard offering didn't happen. The onboard service was fine, but the ride was very rough which I'm guessing was more of a TransPennine issue rather than a track issue. Apologies for any misspelling of 'Pennine'. #transpennineexpress
