Scott Perlmuter here today to talk to you about a wage and hour issue that I’ve covered in a lot of videos before, and that’s with regard to time clock changes, employers that are changing your timeclock records. And specifically here, I want to talk about, what do I do if I suspect that my employer is changing my time clock records? In this day and age, pretty much everyone has a smartphone. That’s your best tool to evaluate whether or not that’s going on. So when you go in in the morning, take a picture of your clockin time, when you leave at night, take a picture of the clock in time. You’re going to want to do that for at least one entire pay period because a lot of times, the only evidence that you’ll be able to balance that against is going to be your pay stub which probably just has the total number of hours that you worked during that pay period. So you can add the pictures up that you’ve got versus your pay stub, and that’s, a lot of times, the best way to evaluate this.
