Train Wreck Update & Heavy Train Stalls On Curvy Hill. See the progress of rebuilding the track and moving the damaged railroad cars out of the way. Includes one of the first trains over the rebuilt track. Loaded Rock train with loaded grain cars didn't make it over Williamsburg Hill with the 2 locomotives. The train had to be cut into two pieces at a railroad crossing and put back together at Afton Yard. This is the Cincinnati Eastern Railroad with a train chase that includes both sides of the train. We also see the train crossing over an abandoned road on a huge Norfolk & Western Railway bridge. Old N&W signals and pole line can be seen.
The road was reopened at the crossing just minutes before this train came and I was the first person to drive over the repaved crossing. A township trustee opened the road to through traffic just after I arrived. It had been closed since the derailment. Check out the awesome job that a subcontractor from St Louis did.
