One of my favorite workshop excercise is called "Twisted Twenties," in which we create a quick study in only 20 minutes! It's "Twisted," because we turn the still life 90 degrees when we're finished and paint another one! This is a great workout if you want to loosen up your brushwork and explore the Loose Realism style.
