This video shows how to mix a good medium for oil painting using a combination of Linseed Stand Oil and Turpentine (turps).

This is one of my favourite home made mediums which improves flow and gives a slight gloss to the paint surface.
Making your own painting medium is great fun and will save you money!

In the video I also do a demonstration oil sketch on a small canvas. I talk through the process, explaining how and when I use the medium with the paint.
