Follow
Painting with Jane

In this video, we're gonna get together and learn how to paint old books and a melting candle with a palette knife. I left the titles of the books blank so you can fill them in with your favorites!

I’m painting on a 16x20inch stretched canvas, but you can paint on any type and size of canvas you like.

I used:
• A 2inch flat brush
• A small diamond shaped palette knife
• A small round brush for signing

I’m using Liquitex Basics acrylic paint in the following colors:
• Mars Black
• Titanium White
• Burnt Umber
• Burnt Sienna
• Yellow Oxide (or Ochre)
• Hooker's Green
• Alizarin Crimson
• Phthalocyanine Blue
• Cadmium Yellow Deep Hue
• Bronze (metallic optional)
But you can use any colors you like.
