OMGee Good Cashew Cheese Spread

You have got to make this OMGee cheese spread when you're in the mood for fancy food. It's a super simple recipe, doesn't call for much in the way of ingredients, but it does take a smidgen of forethought. Oh and cool dark place for the cashew cheese to ferment for 24 to 48 hours.

This is only the beginning for me. You will see more of this recipe in your future as I learn more and more I play around with it.

The basic recipe: 2 cups natural cashews, 1 cup water, 1 tsp salt, 1 probiotic capsule.
Blend nuts, water and salt until smooth. Stir in powder from probiotic capsule. Transfer to strainer lined with cheesecloth. Nest the strainer in a bowl. Store in a cool dark place for 2448 hours, depending on the amount of tang you like in your cheese. Remove from cheesecloth and transfer to sealed container. Chill then serve, or use in recipes.
