I've named the baby chick Tweety, because it chirps constantly. Tweety always stays close to mom, Gracie, and they cuddle in the nesting box together at night. Gracie is teaching her baby to scratch for bugs to eat. We can hear the crows cawing from their nest high in my trees. Crows are good to have around chickens because they will caw loudly when a predator is near, which lets the chickens know they need to run to a safe hiding place.
