I don't claim to be an expert on belts, but I have used enough to know the good and the bad for quite a few.
The points I address here can be applied to many other belts, so if I haven't named your favorite brand just take the methods and examples I use and apply them to your belt of interest.

Carrying is worthwhile but it can be a chore, especially if done with a poor belt choice.
While I don't go indepth on any one belt, there are some major factors to consider that I point out as each belt is demonstrated.

•Flexibility or rigidity for your individual need.
•Checking for securement and hot spots.
•Knowing what will wear out as you use a given belt.
•Understanding that all belts should be considered a consumable, and you will eventually wear them out in one aspect or another.
