Vertigo is often a symptom of a larger problem called BPPV. BPPV is common and not usually a cause for serious medical concern other than crippling vertigo and dizziness that comes along with it. It often resolves on its own, but if it doesn't, most healthcare professionals will attempt the Epley Maneuver to get the inner ear functioning properly again. Dr. Lin is sharing the best way to do the Epley Maneuver. Remember, there are other causes of vertigo besides BPPV so it may be best to seek a healthcare professional for a formal diagnosis before attempting any athome remedies.
