In this video I share how to make.a simple sketchbook from one piece of paper. You can use any art paper you have, I tend to use A3 size paper which is 90lbs or 200gsm in weight because that's what I have a lot of, the thick watercolour paper I also used in this video is 350gsm. It is worth noting that your finished sketchbook or art book will always end up being an eighth of the size of the paper you use.
