One pipe valve

Follow
Calefacción ma non Troppo

The original video is in spanish.

We describe what a radiator valve for singletube installation looks like.

In this case we are talking about thermostatic valves and therefore also thermostatic valves, to satisfy compliance with the RITE of 2007, later recast.
Those with screw closure have the same thermal bases of operation with respect to the radiator but are not thermostatizable.

BE CAREFUL not to confuse with the twotube faucet with the monotube format, which are aesthetically the same and have interesting applications offering versatility in length and height to already installed radiators, but do not divert water to the next radiator. Therefore, if they are installed where they should not be, they can give rise to the incident at minute 5:20 of the video.

NOTE: why do we want to change the length or height of an already installed radiator? for example: to reduce the delivery temperature and increase performance in a condensing boiler.

There is still a long way to go about its use in steel panel radiators and even bathroom radiators, but that part will be discussed later.

This video is part of a course and should be understood as such.
